The Faux Shrub Air Conditioner Concealer
This is the cover that imitates an evergreen shrub to conceal a central air conditioning condenser without hindering its operation. Over 400 boughs that suggest the dark green foliage of a mature “Densiformis” yew insert into the shrub’s four-panel, high-density polyethylene frame that obscures the visible faces of an A/C condenser. Tested by an engineering firm certified by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the frame’s panels each have three horizontal 4″ H x 28″ W louvered openings that allow unrestricted airflow. The frame’s internal dimensions fit A/C units with outer dimensions of 32″ H x 34″ W x 34″ D to further facilitate airflow. Each flexible corrosion-resistant stainless steel bough is crafted with UV-resistant green PVC leaves and a brown PVC stem that enables realistic shaping.
