Stereotank
architect marcelo ertorteguy and sara valente have created ‘stereotank’ for the zooart festival in cuneo, italy.
Made out of extra large water tanks, plastic buckets and nylon cords, this interactive installation invites viewers to generate sound with its taut, horizontal strings: with a total of eight, they cover an octave of the musical scale and enable the work to function as an instrument.
