Class RC Racing Boat
The boat has a 26cc gas engine, a large-scale steering servo with over 270 oz.-per-inch of torque, and a catamaran-style hull that reduces drag, enabling the boat to achieve its high speed quickly. The 1/5-scale boat has an inline aluminum rudder that provides optimal control and precise turns while dual rear mufflers create bursts of spray in the boat’s wake—reminiscent of the towering spray generated by actual cigarette boats. The hand-laid fiberglass hull is 40″ long and 17 1/3″ wide, providing stability during tight turns and choppy water, the 2 3/4″-diameter rudder has a 1.5 pitch for generating optimal thrust and acceleration, and the centrifugal clutch prevents the propeller from spinning while the boat is idle for safety. Includes a 2.4 GHz remote control and an AC charger for powering the on-board electronics.
