The Bal House project, by San Francisco Bay area Terry & Terry Architecture, consists of a single-story addition and renovation to an existing mid-century ranch house in Menlo Park, California. Most striking, the “glass-clad fissure” in between two floating volumes, a new addition and the original structure.
